530 pm radar update: 4 clusters of thunderstorms positioned along a warm front draped across central Alabama. Will continue to watch for strengthening over the next 2-4 hours. Storms should start to dissipate after sunset. #alwx

The Tornado Watch has expired, but stay vigilant in the southeast counties!! Instabilities are rebounding a little bit with the day's heating, and there is still shear present. We've been watching broad rotation in a few storms. It won't take much for those to become stronger.

Here is the latest timing graphic for severe storms. The highest threat area is still across the northwest counties.
