Great to join local elected officials, business leaders, transportation stakeholders, and representatives from the @USChamber for an important discussion about the transportation needs of the Tampa Bay region and the critical importance of reauthorizing the Surface Transportation Infrastructure package. As our region continues to grow, investing in safe, reliable, and modern infrastructure is essential to keeping people and goods moving efficiently, strengthening our economy, and enhancing quality of life for families and businesses alike. I appreciate those who participated in this productive conversation, and I look forward to continuing our work together to ensure the federal government remains a strong partner in advancing Tampa Bay's transportation priorities. Thanks to @TB_Chamber, @ntbchamber, @FlyTPA, @PortTampaBay, West Tampa Chamber, Ybor Chamber, the Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Department of Transportation, and all the other participants who shared their insight.
