Great rally today organised by Taunton Area Cycling Campaign urging Somerset County Council to act on Active Travel. I'm not a lycra-clad sporty cyclist, I just want my grandchildren and the next generation to have a future. #climatechange

Lots of people in my neighbourhood find the area unsightly and messy. Some want it cut down to reduce hayfever and asthma.
Understandably, many humans have lost connection with nature. I'm blessed to have reconnected over the last few years 🙏

The #RightToProtest is fundamental to democracy and to bringing about change.
We have taken to the streets with our songs and props to peacefully, if noisily, urge politicians and business leaders to protect all our children's futures.
Would such actions now be restricted?

Dear @richardgrahamUK, @ranil & Clive Betts - remember those 360+ parliamentarians who called on you to divest their pension from fossil fuels? They’re still waiting (see below).
Ahead of #COP26 MPs must lead by example, don’t you think?
#DivestParliament #ClimateActionNow 🌍
I'm joined by cross-party MPs writing to trustees of the MPs Pension Fund demanding divestment from climate-wrecking fossil fuels
Government has finally pledged to stop fossil fuel finance abroad. Parliament must now get its own house in order
