He had low value right now. It makes more sense to let him play this year and let him prove himself. If he is good this team gets the benefit, then they can re-sign him, tag him and/or tag and trade.

(3/3) Did he show talent? Yes. Ran Great and had one of the longest airtime throws for the season along with some really accurate throws that lead to big time plays. That’s how you evaluate rookie QB’s Everyone needs to be better and not such a box score reading mouth breather.

(1/3) really shows people ignorance about the sports. Media too. It’s not about his stats. Stats are not what make a good player or not. Mahomes didn’t crack 200 yards but was the MVP. The reason to be optimistic is SH was functional. That’s the bar at this point in any young QB

Samuel was on the field last year and was really effective. The top 3 for the team is very strong. There is a dip after them but it's an on-par dip with the rest of the league. A great 4th WR is a luxury most teams do not have. Theilman is a great #2 so that's a tough comparison.

I respect your take, but don't agree. Brown should have at least been on the radar! Even Adam Theilan gave Justin Jefferson trouble! The 4th WR needs to be on the radar, especially since Samuels is almost never on the field. Agree on returner. Wish we got Berrios from the Jets.

You have to understand that one of the prospects will be made into a 1B. That’s how baseball works everywhere. Guys are made into that spot. Also solid chance adley is there in 5-6 years. It’s how it works. In the mean time enjoy the 30 HR with a good glove guy in Mountcastle.

You are 100% correct. Which is so different then the rest of jobs that we all have so maybe that’s why it’s hard for people to come to grips with that.

95% of coaches would overlook organizational instability to pursue NFL coaching promotions (or lateral titles with increase in responsibility, or sometimes even a pure lateral move) because there are only 32 such jobs at each level.

They are the same age. One month apart actually haha. Yea maybe McGary is trending up. Def options in free agency and the draft to upgrade the unit. Excited to see what the team does.

Limited and nope are two different things. Also the chance of getting one is higher with a good roster. So there should be optimism
