Research by @ErikaEHowe & Dr. Leah Bent from @UofG_HHNS found that heating the foot can enhance skin sensitivity & improve motor reflexes in the lower leg.

Check out our recent publication from lab alumnus @EmmaPlater's PhD thesis. We show that electrical cutaneous stimulation of the calf evokes reflexes in vastus lateralis that can be enhanced by noisy vibration stimuli.
