Voting Option 2 this October doesn't mean Alberta will leave Canada. But it becomes a very strong bargaining chip to fix the raw deal with Ottawa that Alberta is currently stuck with: 1. Some of the lowest representation federally at every level (in the Senate, House of Commons, Supreme Court, and even in the civil service). 2. Contributing the most per person to Ottawa while regularly receiving the least in return and having our primary industries taxed and targeted with increasingly stifling regulations & roadblocks. 3. Ottawa's values and priorities (ballooning bureaucracy, mass uncontrolled immigration, anti-resource development, racism disguised as DEI, dependency politics, etc) constantly steamrolling over Alberta's. So if you're an Albertan who, despite seeing the current state of Canada, still want to remain within it but you think Alberta should have a better deal, then vote option 2. Option 1 is merely choosing to maintain the status quo, forfeiting any leverage. Credit to @ulfreakSV
