Oh no, the software that we designed, we wrote, we supervised, we trained and we own just performed serious illegal activities.. But it's not our fault, it's the softwares fault.

The typical Pokemon Youtuber take: *The day the new set released, prices of singles on eBay dropped through the floor! Look at this graph! 📉* Well no shit, there was none of it, now there is all of it.

Is anyone still able to do deep work? With the AI prompting there's always the wait time so I either switch to another prompt or watch some Youtube. Feels very fragmented. Before AI it felt much more like deep work.

Rule #1: Don't vibe code anything that is mission critical, or that people are going to pay you for using.
Software engineers: What’s the #1 thing you’d tell a vibe coder who can’t code?

Imagine you've spent years designing and building a game where the audio only exists in your head. Then you finally get around to the "TODO: Audio" task on your Kanban board, and a few days later the sound is no longer only in your head. Like hearing for the first time

Then a few hours later, you implement a "Debug - Muted" VS Code launch task because of reasons most Game Devs know..

Poker games are not really the point. They are simply an easy-to-understand demonstration of what Chia can do. What it actually demonstrates is that a Chia coin can support arbitrarily long, interactive state channels between two parties, while only the opening and final settlement need to become on-chain transactions. That pattern isn't specific to gaming. It can be used for things like negotiations, auctions, or repeated trades — any interaction involving many small steps and one final settlement, where putting every step on-chain would be too slow or expensive. So reducing it to “poker games” misses the actual technical significance. The game is the demonstration; the underlying capability is much broader. chia:native #crypto xchmempool.com/learn/what-is…

Agreed! 💯
"Merge Request" is objectively a better name than "Pull Request"
