Apart from age, I honestly believe Master Shifu could have defeated Tai Lung in Kung Fu Panda.
The problem was never just strength — it was guilt. Tai Lung was once the student Shifu believed in the most, and deep down, Shifu blamed himself for what Tai Lung became.
I feel like that guilt held him back. He wasn’t fighting just Tai Lung; he was fighting his own regret.

My theory: none of this scene is real. It’s happening in John’s mind while he charges the ring in the Green/Yellow Lantern.
The home represents John’s deepest childhood fears. His family greeting him happily could symbolize him finally accepting and embracing those fears, as in his oath.

The isle of faces isn’t explained anywhere, the mystery is the appeal.
It’s said the Green Men lived there and tend to the weirwoods who were carved on when the Pact between First Men and Children of the Forest was made. Were they still there in Addams time? Are the Green Men not human? Are the Green Men still around in Bran’s time? We don’t know, we just get scarce vague reference.
