I finally was able to test the new Invideo Editor, where you build AI agents that handle the edit on their own.
I gave it the raw clips I generated for my CBR600 HRC spot, with no cuts and no grading, plus a written brief.
It's not at the level of my manual edit version, but it followed the brief closely:
– key moments landed exactly where I asked
– studio detail shots and track footage split correctly
– cuts followed the music I provided
– no duplicates, and only a couple easy to spot mistakes
What impressed me most: it built a solid starting point for final refinement, work that would normally take hours. All done autonomously while I was working on another ad.

The era of manually building sound beds is ending. Launching: Agentic Sound Design on the invideo editor.
The online invideo editor + editing agents can access all the music and sound in the world, or generate it from scratch, auto-place it on the timeline, mix + master, and build a entire sound bed that adheres to your vision and direction.
This changes everything for mixed media and layover animation graphics 🔥
Created this mixed media video using the 'invideo editor', just by chatting with an editing agent.
~ Asked the agent to break up the original video into individual frames (for this one it was 12 fps)
~ Described the mixed media style we wanted in detail to the agent (you could also give the agent reference images and videos that you feel work best for the video you're creating),
~ And then asked it to generate each frame using an image-gen model and line it back up in the right place as a separate layer.
Did all this in ~30 minutes.
For 2043 worldbuilding, I'm leaving nothing to chance. Nu-Tokyo is divided into blocks, and Omni has rebuilt almost the entire city in a style that combines brutalist oppression with futuristic intricacy.
A maze engineered to erase human self-expression.
