Hot take: if you lose a match and your opponent says “GG” and you get upset about that, then I would suggest that learning to manage your emotional responses would improve your in-game results significantly. Don’t let tilt ruin your tournaments.

To be honest, if what he says here is true, a 6 month ban while remaining in GM (effectively fining him 6 months worth of appearance fees) is an appropriate response by blizzard and a brave sacrifice by blitzchung.
