More than four decades ago, Muslim Brotherhood strategists devised a plan to capture the West from within and ultimately bring it under Islamic rule. They put it in writing: a 12-point blueprint known as “The Project.” The strategy was brutally patient: enter the political system, penetrate institutions, influence “centers of power,” build Islamic institutions, and use them “in the service of Islam.” The document calls for entering governments, parliaments, municipal councils, and unions “in the interest of Islam and of Muslims” and explicitly calls for “the establishment of an Islamic state.” And they knew they would need allies. The plan calls for “temporary cooperation” with non-Islamic political movements when their interests overlap - while warning the Islamic movement not to give those allies its allegiance. Now look at the radical Left. Look at the DSA. Different ideology. Different endgame. Temporary alliance. And what helps bind that coalition together? PALESTINE. The Brotherhood blueprint calls Palestine the “keystone” of its worldwide Islamic plan - a cause capable of rallying the Ummah while creating common political ground with non-Islamic movements. And then comes the ballot box. The blueprint tells followers to enter elected institutions and accumulate influence while avoiding confrontations that could endanger the broader project. Some Muslim political activists have since described this strategy even more bluntly... The vote is their weapon. Political participation is their jihad. Why use bullets when ballots can deliver power? Candidate by candidate. Election by election. Office by office.
