While in Sweden, Hon. Mulambo Haimbe, S.C., M.P., Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, undertook a site visit to Midsummer AB, a #Swedish renewable energy company specialising in lightweight, flexible, and low-carbon thin-film solar technologies.
Very successful meeting in Stockholm yesterday by Hon Min Haimbe. Zambia-Sweden relations grow stronger.
🇿🇲🤝🇸🇪
Glad to welcome my colleague Hon. Mulambo Haimbe to Stockholm to deepen the Sweden-Zambia partnership. Zambia is one of Sweden's key partners in Africa. I highly value our close cooperation in multilateral organisations and in support of international law. @ZambiaMFAIC
Thank you Hon Ambrose Lufuma, Min of Defence, for good discussions on the work of ICGLR with us, the local representatives of the ICG, the International Contact Group for the Great Lakes. We welcome 🇿🇲 active role in promoting peace.
Sweden chairs ICG during Jan-June 2026.
Typical food for a Swedish Christmas: three different varieties of herring, salmon and ham, of course! And I also brought a little bit of Zambia 🇿🇲 with me back to Sweden for Christmas! 😄
Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🎅🌟
Wonderful Zambia! 🇿🇲 ❤️🇿🇲
I visited the stunning Liuwa Plain National Park in the weekend. Long drive from Lusaka but sooo worthwhile! Wildebeest migration, wild dogs and cheetahs 🐆

Winding up 4️⃣ valuable days in Luapula! The main purpose was to visit the GEWEL programme that 🇸🇪 supports together w 🇮🇪🇬🇧 and the World Bank.
The GEWEL programme has
👉 supported 140,000+ women’s livelihood
👉 170,000+ girls to be able to stay in school
Now it’s scaling up!💪🏽
While in Luapula, we had the opportunity to observe voter registration outside Shoprite in Mansa.
Thanks Moses Mukinga for letting us follow your registration!
If you pass Mansa, be sure to stay at my friend Davies Chitundu’s lodge Wetuna Gardens. I was fortunate to return here yesterday and we shared dinner. 🙏🏽
Davies used to work at the Swedish Embassy for some twenty years, so it’s great to hear the stories from the past! 😁
🇿🇲❤️🇸🇪
A quick stop in Ndola on the way to Mansa!
Field trip this week to experience and learn more about the GEWEL programme in Luapula with our partners the GRZ 🇿🇲 the World Bank 🌍 Ireland 🇮🇪 and the UK 🇬🇧
