A lot to be happy and proud of in late August. Thanks to @donthornburghjr for the visit, education, and service. We’re seeing the densest deepest root structure in our Bent and Poa on green surfaces since collecting data.
Throughout the season I enjoy collecting data on root mass and depths. July and August we see that summer stress really start showing below the surface. The good, good, and the ugly. Easy to find the green that’s all Poa in these photos.
Definitely the coolest soil temps in recent memory the first week of May. I’ll take it!! More time to grow roots
Glad to see Doral & Miami back where it belongs on the PGA tour. Being part of the Trump team that renovated the property, was one of the highlights of my career. Forever grateful & blessed for those experiences and the future it helped provide my career. #BlueMonsterVet
Got out on the greens today with @donthornburghjr. Very promising root structures and noticeable development in mycorrhiza production. Poa plug showing the deepest roots to date was nice to see. @sigma_bio has been a game changer in our agronomic plan
Great opportunity to be mentored by one of the best.
Olde Florida Golf Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our agronomy team. One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been helping assistants grow and move on to leadership roles in our industry! Take a look:

On a cold winter day in Ohio, I sometimes miss the warmth of the South Florida sun on my face. Time to book a flight!!!
Stopped by the club to pay some bills and do payroll this morning. Brought my youngest with me, he got to meet a HMGC legend. Couple generations gap here, but the conversation was great.
