RIP architect Terry Farrell of Vauxhall Cross fame … and many other fine buildings.
David Goldstone, who died last week, did much to change the skyline of London through his company Regalian. @PropertyWeek @EstatesGazette One of Regalian’s last projects was this office at Vauxhall Cross, on the Thames... home to MI6 and star of many a Bond film 1/

Today I had the opportunity to visit Central Quay, the redevelopment by Paul McCarthy, Rightacres Property Group, of the former Brains Brewery located south of Cardiff Central. A remarkable transformation underway.

Severn Bridge closed to HGVs, resurfacing works & rockfalls. It’s all kicking off in this article … but the serious point is the road links into SE Wales are looking fragile. Thanks to Gemma & Mark @WalesBusiness for running this conta.cc/4nGn46a

A pleasant trip today to Heads of the Valleys Industrial Estate in Rhymney to see the completion of a 30k sq ft total rebuild following a fire. It’s a Grade A spec unit … on an estate not otherwise known for its quality! Well done Mileway 👏

A lovely morning to visit @BBCRadioWales to discuss our town & city centres and how to regenerate / transform. There’s no lack of ideas, rather, in many instances, a lack of implementation … BTW not every solution is expensive.

A Hurricane ‘engine test’ bonus at BBMF when my sister and me visited this afternoon. Lovely to meet some of Dad’s former colleagues in the guide room.

Fair play to RCT, they keep the projects rolling along in Pontypridd town centre. The river used to be something to be ashamed of… dirty, smelly and hidden behind the shops. But no more, it’s now clean & this scheme opens up the river.
The Council is pleased to announce that significant funding is now secured to redevelop the Marks and Spencer site in #Pontypridd Town Centre. Following the appointment of a contractor, work is on course to start in February 2025. Full details here: orlo.uk/Qr4oc

Fair play to @JackSargeantAM for speaking less that 24 hours since his appointment as a Minister. But mainly, it’s good to see active engagement by @WelshGovernment with business on how to improve the business engagement. @ColegyCymoedd

Thanks @katrinacinus @UniSouthWales for the invitation to join this alumni panel of all ages. Zaina and Jake showed the future is bright.
I really enjoyed planning & delivering this ‘Alumni Thank you’ event for @UniSouthWales at @ICCWales. A fantastic panel of Alumni ambassadors, performers and guests. Key takeaways 1) the power of networking at these events & 2) Ambassadors are a vital part of the marketing mix
