Are there any disabled directors/producers out there who could maybe give me some tips on how to make it so I can direct on a tiny budget when walking and lifting things are very difficult? I’m used to being very hands on to save time and money, but can’t anymore…
Well, the first 2 episodes of #wandavision definitely successfully makes me want to watch the rest of them. I wonder how people who didn’t grow up watching these sitcoms will view it, but I appreciated the commitment to the bit. I look forward to seeing the rest!
I’m a very slow writer. I enjoy what I’m working on, I’m just... really slow at the physical act of writing. And even worse when I’m stressed. I’m still writing though, every single day... I envy people who can consistently get more than a page a day! Tell me your secrets!

Saying the new Oscar requirements for Best Picture are going to make worse films win, implies you think that diverse casts & crews can’t be as good as non diverse. That ‘hiring the best people for the job’ inherently skews against diversity. /1
They just want to encourage studios to hire more, and help develop more diverse talent who HAVE been shut out by everyone hiring people they know, which when you’re starting with white dudes, is more likely to BE white dudes. They aren’t necessarily the best person /5

Had benefits originally, lost them a couple years in. Was leading teams and coordinating directly with the devs to make the testing plans.
The raise was due to the province increasing min wage.

pretty weird that in some quarters sacrificing and staying in to protect the vulnerable—what we might once have called gallantry (or stoicism)—is being billed as fear and “hysteria”, whereas going out, shaking hands and endangering people just cuz is being coded as, uh, “brave”
