Current neurotic parenting thing is the "switch witch" where kids will leave all of their Halloween candy out for the switch witch to come and take it and leave a toy or other reward in its place. Which seems like a very roundabout way of giving your child an eating disorder

Something I've observed over the past 4 months re: the TADC finale. The people I know who watch a wide variety of media ultimately liked the ending. Meanwhile, the people who consume cartoons exclusively thought of the ending as "the worst thing ever." Something to ponder.
