i genuinely believe no one is dying in beyond the spider-verse. milesβ entire story is about defying the idea that tragedy is inevitable. killing someone off would only reinforce the very thing his character is fighting against.
theyβve mishandled his character so badly that itβs genuinely impossible to consider him the best spider-man at this point. he was practically handed a clean slate, and somehow they still managed to fumble his characterization.

this genuinely made me realize that the kids who were 5β8 when far from home came out are now old enough to argue about these movies online, which explains why so many of them are biased towards mcu spidey out of pure nostalgia.
i hope sony has the sense to reject this. spider-verse has its own identity, and forcing an mcu connection would be creatively bankrupt.
really about to be pushing 20 next month, is that too old to like shit like superheros and anime? is it time to give it all up?
