This morning I visited a memorial recognizing the toll the ongoing war has had on Ukraine’s children. One pays honor and respect of their death, not by laying of flowers, but by stuffed toy animals. The killing of innocent civilians, especially children, must end. @POTUS has been clear: the killing must stop.

Some quotes from @generalkellogg:
“Israel’s ability to win this war serves U.S. interests as it reestablishes credible American deterrence, which will impact the war in Ukraine and America’s ability to address the rising threat of China.”
“Pushing a two-state solution in the wake of the October 7 attacks has severe long-term negative consequences, as it signals that there is a reward for Hamas’s violence and atrocities committed on October 7.”
“Israeli officials do not appreciate the U.S. trying to force a two-state solution peace plan on Israel that they have rejected. One Israeli official objected to first hearing about new U.S. peace plans in the press rather than a U.S. official directly.”

7 major differences between the anti-Israel protests and the pro-Israel rally today at the National Mall:
1. Nobody was assaulted.
2. There were many American flags.
3. There was no racism or bigotry.
4. Nobody was hiding behind a face mask.
5. Concern was expressed for innocents on the other side.
6. It was bipartisan.
7. It was much, much larger!
