I deal with Moronistan and Podcastistan every day, so you don’t have to. It’s telling that we’re just a couple of weeks away from a potentially life-altering election, facing what I believe is a Republic-ending socialist threat, and these people are doing everything they can to help their radical ideological allies win. Stay focused. Vote. Bring ten people with you. Ignore the grifters. And take your country back. She needs you. 🇺🇸

The degree to which people in the West fall prey to suicidal empathy continues to astonish me. Read @GadSaad’s book about it!
To be demoralized is to have your sense of reality so inverted that you fail to recognize you are in a state of war, mistake those attacking you for victims, and willingly assist them in undermining your own society while believing you are doing something good.

One year ago today, all 20 remaining living Israeli hostages finally came home after two years of unimaginable suffering in Gaza. Welcoming them home and seeing them reunited with their families was one of the most special moments of my life. After so much pain, uncertainty, and heartbreak, seeing families embrace their loved ones again was something I will never forget. The hostages endured hell, and their families demonstrated extraordinary strength, courage, and resilience through the darkest of times. @SEPeaceMissions and I are deeply grateful to @POTUS for his leadership and determination, @VP, @SecRubio, and our partners in Israel, Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey - particularly @netanyahu, @AmbDermer, @TamimBinHamad, @MBA_AlThani_, Ali Al-Thwadi, @AlsisiOfficial, General Hasan, @EgyptForeignMin, @RTErdogan, @HakanFidan, @ikalin1, and many others who worked tirelessly to make this day possible. Above all, today belongs to the freed hostages and their families. Their strength and determination will always inspire me.

Dr. Trump was a legendary MIT professor who pioneered high-voltage X-ray machines used to treat cancer patients, saving countless lives During WWII he helped develop RADAR for the Allies. Charlie Kirk's producer, @BlakeSNeff, says he owes his entire career to Tucker Carlson after Tucker tapped him as his head writer on what became one of the most important nightly monologues in the Conservative Movement -- and arguably in the nation. Last week, Tucker accused Blake of embracing censorship over a Politico profile in which Blake argued the movement has to be willing to reject and denounce the year-long campaign of lies against Erika Kirk and Turning Point. Blake has been one of the most prominent voices online fighting back against Candace Owens' vile campaign against Erika Kirk and TPUSA. He insists he is a free speech maximalist. He has never asked a platform to ban Candace or a law to stop her. What he holds firmly is that a movement that cannot call a lie a lie will fail, and that Tucker, in extending Candace maximum grace, is carrying water for the people telling it. youtube.com/watch?v=mxnJdi7S…

While everyone is focused on the ICE shooting in Austin, the City Council is quietly spending an insane amount of taxpayer money on lawyers to fight deportations. It's tucked into Thursday's consent agenda so it can pass without a word of debate or controversy. The money goes to two nonprofits, American Gateways and Catholic Charities, to provide what the City's own documents call "deportation defense." It pays for: 1. Lawyers representing "detained and non-detained immigrants," including people ICE is actively trying to remove. 2. Coaching immigrants representing themselves in immigration court, helping them file motions and meet deadlines to stay in the country. 3. Legal work that helps immigrants obtain work permits. 4. Federal immigration filing fees. Total bill to be approved: $854,872 City staff list one of the program's goals as helping clients "obtain and maintain public benefits." Austin has already paid American Gateways $3.4 million since 2019, and after Thursday the four contracts will be authorized for up to $6.7 million.

If you're a writer in Austin hoping for the fully paid week at a boutique hotel on South Congress and a $1,000 stipend courtesy of the city, first make sure that you are a black woman.
Austin has given a nonprofit $470,000 in hotel tax money to run programs that white people and men can't apply to. Torch Literary Arts exists, by its own charter, to advance black women writers. Its magazine takes submissions from black women, its workshops and writing circle are limited to “BIPOC” women, its flagship retreat is a free week at a boutique Austin hotel with a $1,000 stipend, open to black women only. The City money comes from Thrive, a grant program City Council created to correct the "cultural erasure of vulnerable communities." In 2024, government grants made up roughly half of Torch's revenue. Then Torch went back to the City and asked for a path to a $1 million annual budget and permanent space, citing gentrification and displacement. Texas law says hotel tax money has to be spent promoting tourism, and Austin's own grant rules say funded activities must be open to the public. But the retreat takes black women only... the magazine takes black women only... the workshops take “BIPOC” women only Next week the Council will give another $1,000 or so in fees for Torch's anniversary gala.

Another installment in the saga of Florida Man!
You don't need to be rich to enjoy Florida water. You need redneck engineering, an inflatable SUP, a lawn chair, and a $12 umbrella from Dollar General. 😎 Florida Man doesn't take no for an answer. He Cletus-Clampetts a yes together and breezes past the jet skis like a drunk Tim the Temu-Tool Man Taylor. The climate change yacht people are still miserable in floating air conditioned prisons. This guy is floating on a pool toy like he owns the Gulf of America... Want happiness? Be like Florida Man. 👍
