Here at last! Redleaf Press did a great job in the design of this 2nd edition. Looking forward to seeing how folks use the three new chapters: Raw Documentation, Documentation as a Professional Learning tool, and Documentation of Infants, toddlers, and non-verbal children.

So exited to hear that my 2nd. edition of Pedagogical Documentation has arrived at the Redleaf warehouse and is ready for shipping! Yay!!

A pleasure to spend time with 500+ Ontario educators on Friday, exploring ways of revisiting our pedagogical documentation practices and using ped doc in new ways. Always great participation, sharing, and input from ECE folks in Ontario!

Working on edits for 2nd edition of Ped. Doc! Redleaf Press tells me that publication date should be next Spring; a little earlier than expected!

So...the first draft of a 2nd edition of Pedagogical Documentation is in the editor's hands, and now I wait!!

As I work on the 2nd edition of Ped. Doc., I'm contemplating the voice of marginalized children and families, and how Pedagogical Documentation can become an inclusive bridge...

Excited to be enrolled at the local college of art and design for visual journaling....in the hope of extending the many perspectives we use for seeing life (and children!) and the hundreds of ways we might have to express those perspectives.

Really interesting to connect with educators in Singapore, Macau, Pakistan and Japan today. Such strong intentions to experiment, innovate, and remain curious along with children. We all share similar successes and challenges in this strange time!!

Busy April coming up, beginning with Sergio Pascucci & friends in Ont (examining 'scripts' for inquiry) then Singapore, BC (making values visible), ASCY - Educators Voices in Documentation, NB (Inquiry series) and also taping short webinars for our local folks here in N.S...Phew!

During this past pandemic year, so grateful to be in collaboration with educators around the world and across Canada. BC and NB last week, Singapore/Macao next week, and Ontario and NB moving forward. Here's to thinking together!!
