With tonight's victory, the @PhilaUnion have taken 32 points from their last 12 matches, tied for the most points in any 12-game span in @MLS history. The last team to accomplish the feat was Seattle Sounders FC in 2018.

Matt Campbell on Terry Smith's importance to this team:
"I think the greatest thing Terry brings is he's such a wealth of living knowledge of what it means to be a Penn Stater, what it means to play here, what it means to represent this uniform, what it means to carry yourself the right way on the field, but equally off the field."

The quote in the image is fabricated and does not match Ed Sheeran's actual statement on the Macklemore controversy.

Penn State added a brand new upper bowl to Beaver Stadium, so I went to the highest possible seat in the building and the view is SPECTACULAR. Look at this.

In 1988 Dolly Parton pulled every 7th and 8th grader in Sevier County into a room and told them to pick a buddy.
She made them sign a contract.. if BOTH graduate, she hands you both $500. One fails, nobody gets paid.
The county dropout rate went from 35% to 6%.
She handed out the checks herself.
In 1989 she offered $500 to every kid in the county who wanted to go to the local college.
When Gatlinburg burned in 2016, she sent 900 families $1,000 a month for six months.
You've probably heard that part.
Here's the part you haven't:
The fund raised more than expected, so she showed up in May and handed every one of those families another $5,000 on top.
Then she quietly put $3 million into the recovery group that handles the years after the news trucks leave.
She built her county an entire hospital.
She played a benefit concert in 2007, Dollywood and the Stampede matched it, and LeConte Medical Center opened in 2010 with a birthing unit and a women's center in it.
In 2022 she started covering 100% of tuition, books, and fees for Dollywood employees.
Full-time, part-time, AND seasonal.
In 1991 she paid for a bald eagle sanctuary because the birds couldn't be released back into the wild, no press release.
And when Hurricane Helene came through here in Western North Carolina, she wrote a personal check for $1 million and her companies matched it.
She didn't owe North Carolina anything, but she helped us anyway.
She started the Imagination Library because her daddy couldn't read or write. Before he passed, he told her it was the most important thing she ever did.
Rest in Peace, Dolly 🇺🇸

When I tell you this Union team is the most “Philadelphia” team in the city, I mean it. Full of kids who grew up in the area and know what it means to represent and fight for the name of the front of the shirt

Kicker Ryan Barker on deciding to return to Penn State:
"It was the easiest decision I could have made. It would have been just as easy as if someone handed me $1,000 and asked, ‘Do you want this or not?’ Like it was seriously a no-brainer for me. I take so much pride in wearing the navy and white, and being an in-state kid, you want to represent this school. You grow up seeing this team through the years, and that's all I wished for, so why would I leave? Like why would I leave paradise? That's kind of the mindset with it, and it's like, yeah, I could go make some more money, but that's not why I'm playing football. At the end of the day, I'm playing football because I love it, and I care more about legacy than anything else. And honestly, part of the decision was just being able to leave a legacy here. I want people from my high school in my hometown to be able to talk about me decades after I'm gone. And I'm hoping that I'm making that imprint so far."

NEW: Saquon Barkley scored, chirped Cooper DeJean, shoved Quinyon Mitchell, jump-cut to daylight, then made Jordan Davis miss—all in one practice.
Then said this new offense lets him show things he never has in his career.
He ran for 2,000 yards two seasons ago.
Good luck, everybody.
