Yes! I love it as a way to refine your pitch. If you can't offer a pithy pitch, then your concept needs work.
More than anything, remember to have fun. Only 4-5% of pitches get agent likes in #PitMad, so your odds of getting published from this event are low.
This is a great exercise to improve your pitch and a means to network and meet new writers.
