Anniversary dinner @TheView @MirrorLakeInn Lake Placid. 2018 Heitz Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon - blackened shrimp over cornmeal griddle cake w/molasses and corn, yellow lentil soup, rare filet mignon with potatoe purée and green beans, and sea bass with lemon couscous. Amazing! ❤️

Val delle Rose- our first winery stop on the Rustic Tuscan. 240 acres of luscious vineyards, beautiful property, amazing wines, and our lunch was perfect- charcuterie with fresh meats, cheese, bruschetta, saffron risotto w/crispy pancetta, tenderloin w/peppercorns, Grandma’s cake

Highlights from our visit to the Vatican in Rome. How do I select only 4 images to share?The Sistine Chapel is breathtaking. Speechless. So many beautiful paintings, sculptures, papal robes, history, artifacts in the museums. We were exhausted after 4 hrs, saw only a fraction!

Highlights from Florence Italy - Statue of David, Michelangelo- The Birth of Venus, by Botticelli-Madonna and Child, and Rembrandt, self portrait. Beautiful Renaissance art in the Uffizi Galleries and the Galleria dell’Academia di Firenze- too many to post!
