Today marks an important moment for us. @SurrealDB 3.0 is now generally available. It is our most stable, performant, and enterprise-ready release to date, and a meaningful step forward in how AI systems manage memory and context. AI agents struggle with durable state. They forget facts, lose relationships, and fragment context as complexity grows. SurrealDB 3.0 addresses that directly by enabling first-class agent memory and context graphs inside the database itself, so models run next to the data, context remains synchronised, and application logic becomes simpler and more dependable. Alongside the release, we are announcing our $38M Series A, bringing total funding to $44M including seed. We are sharing this now because the capital and the product go hand in hand. It allows us to support 3.0 at scale and continue investing in reliability, performance, security, cloud, and enterprise readiness.
