Well said! And so very true. One of my favourite Carney-isms was in the last budget, where they said they'd "take back control" of immigration. Really? From whom would they take back control? From themselves! Amazing that anyone with a brain continues to vote for these fools.
Mark Carney keeps telling us we live in a “dangerous and divided world” without acknowledging how we got here. Because if he did, fingers would be pointing right back at him. Leading the Bank of Canada under Harper. Leading the Bank of England. Advising Trudeau. Working in the very circles that helped shape the world he is now warning us about. You would think there would be a little humility. Perhaps even some embarrassment before asking citizens to trust him with more power. If these “leaders” are so capable, why do their warnings keep getting darker while our lives get harder? Where are the results of all this supposed expertise? We are told to trust their leadership, yet somehow never to question where it has brought us. I have come to the harsh conclusion that we keep expecting better outcomes from people whose priority is protecting their own positions and interests. Helping citizens become strong, free and prosperous is clearly not the priority. Instead, we are left paying more for public services that fail to serve the public, while those responsible expect our trust and treat us as the problem when we question their failures. So what can you do in this “dangerous and divided world”? Stop assuming the government will take care of you. Judge its competence by its record, not its promises. Take care of yourself, your family and your community. Ask questions. Think independently. Do not hand over your judgment simply because someone in power tells you to be afraid. Look around and ask yourself. Are our streets safer? Are hospital waits shorter? Are classrooms less crowded? Is housing more affordable? Are groceries cheaper? Are you keeping more of what you earn? Are repeat violent offenders being kept off our streets? Is public money being spent responsibly? Are those in power answering your questions or dismissing you for asking? Then ask yourself whether you want more of the same and why those failing us every day should be trusted with even more power.

Most people are unaware of the excesses of the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal and the laundry list of outrageous cases it rules on. This is not a normal use of taxpayer dollars. It's a system being weaponized against everyday people to enforce a narrow set of progressive ideals. @kateemarland explains on @WDiminishment:
“It bears constant reminding that our Human Rights overlords fined an elected school trustee $750,000 for remarks made about sexual orientation and gender ideology. Some amongst us would endeavour to reform this institution, but those would be individuals with far more institutional trust than me. I do not see a path forward for reform when we have done a cannonball off the deep end.” @kateemarland @nationalpost nationalpost.com/opinion/kat…

🚨 LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF AMERICA, THE MOMENT YOU’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! The @WNBA has officially responded! IS THE #WNBA TRANSPHOBIC? Apparently, the WNBA still can’t define what a WOMAN is, but they’re absolutely certain they know what a MAN is! How convenient! WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert has declared that I am a man. Who gave her the authority to decide who I am? Who gets to define my identity? And how can the WNBA determine who is a man without explaining what qualifies someone as a woman? Is the WNBA denying people the right to define their own gender identity? You can’t have it both ways! America, read this letter for yourselves. THE WNBA HAS SOME EXPLAINING TO DO!

BREAKING: Melissa Batie-Smoose, a former assistant volleyball coach at San Jose State, has RENEWED her lawsuit against the university after she was allegedly fired for opposing a male on the women's volleyball team. Melissa claims that the university violated Title IX and her religious rights by retaliating against her for raising concerns. Men DO NOT belong in women's sports.

✅ Net zero and climate mandates that destroyed the economy/productivity. ✅ Mass immigration that changed demographics, suppressed wages, and increased tax payer burden/relying on said mass immigration to artificially manage declining fertility rates, rather than implementing pro-family policies that reduce the cost of living and support domestic family growth. ✅ Deindustrialization due to high taxes and over regulation—prioritizing foreign manufacturing and imports over domestic. ✅ allowing Chinese transshipment to displace your existing Manufactueres and run them out of business. ✅ expanding the public sector pulling labour away from the wealth generating private sector. ✅ Implementing lenient bail reforms that release violent repeat offenders back into the community, fueling lawlessness and exhausting police resources. Mark Carney, his elite advisors, and the Liberal Party of Canada are not simply diagnosing a “global rupture”… their policies are the very rupture they are talking about.

This is unacceptable.   Justice Brenda Brown has ruled that the men who murdered Arnold and Joanne De Jong for money could be allowed to apply for early parole.   This is an insult to the memory of Arnold and Joanne and to the family left grieving their loss. These men do not deserve to re-enter our community.   Due to 11 years of weak Liberal policies, Canada's justice system puts the interests of violent offenders ahead of the rights of victims and the safety of law-abiding Canadians. The De Jong family deserves better.   We owe it to them, and to every family in our community, to ensure that those who commit heinous crimes must face serious consequences.

Man with a mental disorder that compelled him to have his penis chopped off reports that he’s delighted he had his penis chopped off. In a sane world, news outlets would report on this with horror. Instead, it’s all glowing stories describing “the magical thing about queerness.”

Is anybody in Ottawa paying attention? 722,680 work permits reportedly approved in just 8 months. Weren't we told Ottawa was dramatically reducing temporary immigration? Meanwhile, youth unemployment remains painfully high. Someone needs to make sense of this. The numbers aren't adding up.

Every week, Canada yields some news story that seems like it could only exist in a dystopian novel written by William F. Buckley. This week: A university scolding students to be more tolerant of the giant, rapist murderer they're forced to attend classes with.
Years ago, Jeffrey George Ewert raped and killed a young woman and beat a girl into a paralyzed, vegetative state. Now he's trying to pursue the privilege of a legal education at McGill, in proximity to the many young women who attend campus. It should be out of the question. Instead of calling out the hazard, the law students' association accused the university of not providing adequate support to a formerly incarcerated student and asked for a "circle discussion led by an Elder" to help students process "recent events." A student-alumni petition urges that Ewert return to campus. Everyone here seems to be forgetting that a key part of preserving the legitimacy of our justice institutions involves keeping out society's worst criminals (such as rapists and murderers). Prelim vote results suggest most Albertans don't support a status-quo relationship with Ottawa. Carney shouldn't have intervened with "no to the nine" before Albertans had their say; he now finds himself in a position where he needs to either stick to his pre-vote position in opposing powers for Alberta that are already granted to other provinces, or, having to back down and work cooperatively with Premier Smith on this as part of her refreshed mandate. #cdnpoli #abpoli
Kate Harrison on Carney’s Alberta pitch: “I think it was important for the prime minister to be out in Alberta last week making the pitch to Albertans. I think that he undermined that pitch by casting judgment on the other nine votes… He is casting judgment on a question that’s being put to Albertans before Albertans have had their say, and he did not do that before Quebecers went to the polls.” She added that the off-the-cuff remark “did more damage than it did good,” especially if Carney offers Quebec powers he withholds from Alberta @KatlynHarrison

OneBC proposes the establishment of a provincial Gender Ideology Task Force, headed by the Premier, the Minister of Health, and three other MLAs, with a clear mandate: to restore biological sex as the foundation of law, policy, and public institutions in British Columbia. The Task Force will draft and coordinate the legislative, regulatory, and administrative action needed to remove gender identity from the Human Rights Code, schools, sports, medical practice for minors, and official identification. Its work will prioritize the protection of women’s and girls’ rights, the safeguarding of children from experimental medical interventions, and the primacy of parental authority.

You do not get to call every disagreement with your identity claim “misogyny” and then pretend you have made an argument. Women are not makeup, hair, clothes, a voice, or a feminine aesthetic. Women are female people. Recognizing that is not hatred. It is reality. The rhetorical trick is always the same: disagree with a male person’s claim to be a woman, and suddenly you are accused of denying his humanity or hating women. No. We can treat every person with basic dignity without surrendering language, sex-based rights, or the meaning of woman. I break down these language traps and the psychological pressure behind them in Breaking the Spell: Language, Social Pressure, and Psychological Framing in Modern Discourse. Lost in the Immigration debate and the faux justification (i.e. labour shortages) is that Employee Compensation as a share of GDP continues to fall. This means employee wages, salaries, and pension contributions are shrinking relative to the economy.
This reeks of contempt for regular Canadian families.
