I hope they do Abbey Road next. There's a lot more room to work with than on Mounttown Road. Also, a lot of on-street parking, despite large driveways.
The finishing touches are finally being made to DLR Central on Mounttown Road Lower! It looks fantastic, and the road appears set to reopen in both directions for all users tomorrow. #safestreets #activetravel @dunlaoghairecra

This is really good, but its an AI model: now @dlrcc can you get started on the real thing? The actual place could be beautiful, but AI models are exactly that, artificial! @SupportLivingSt youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ-sbD-V…

It has been a long dry summer but @DunLaoghaireTT organized regular watering for the planters across the town and kept many flowers in bloom & looking great. ❤️

We attended a Living Streets update meeting yesterday and one of the things that was very apperent was just how much planting will be part of the project. In particular around the Carnegie Library and the junction with Sussex St & Georges St 🌳💚 The project should be starting early '27 🤞

Keep and aye on @dlrcc over the coming year. They’ll show why the 11 councils in NI need devolved transport powers when it comes to active travel. 100 miles up the road - 20 years ahead. @dunlaoghairecra @SupportLivingSt

Dubliners biking in their thousands, in all kinds of weather. The barrier to cycling has never been rain. It’s risk. Create safe streets and people will cycle. It worked then, it will work now.
1946, Pillars, Pedals & Police O’Connell Street in quieter times, Nelson’s Pillar rises above Dublin, a British monument in an Irish city, snapped by Dutch photojournalist Willem van de Poll. Bicycles ruled the road, a Garda stands sentry and the pillar would last until 1966.

Most broadcasters won’t say this: our roads are not fair, and they’re not neutral. Some people are far more vulnerable than others. Credit to Kieran Cuddihy for saying it on @rteliveline this week. Our laws, road design, and enforcement must reflect that simple truth.

Red light cameras - shelved. Reform of RSA - shelved. National default 30kmh speed limit in urban areas - shelved. And this is how we plan to reduce deaths and serious injuries on Irish roads?
