Inspiring national conference with many YPFs LYNs around England. So much brilliant and real place-based partnership taking place. Building to ensure young people are heard, get respect, finance they deserve @YPFtrust @ErikMesel1 @Young_MCR @LancasterCVS #SunderlandRuth and all

Cruelty is the most expensive aspect of our society. Poverty & destitution costs us so much, direct & long term financial costs & catastrophic human costs.
Invest in people. Good healthcare, housing & income for everyone. Remove NRPF, Asylum poverty & warehousing.
Day of tasting mints and deterring slugs; we saved five strawberries 🍓 and the wool slug pellets seem to be working 🤞 @STGPSCamberwell
We're composting, we're exploring creature, we're learning about soul structure and composition, we're eating fresh vegetables and growing more @STGPSCamberwell We're

:) It’s so lovely seeing how excited children are when you invite them to use all their languages. Literally, all this is is a length of sugar paper with speech bubbles, and it’s a super-popular part of the stall! #multilingual

It didn't happen.
It happened but they did it to themselves.
We did it, serves them right.
We did it, sorry, but it was necessary at the time.
We did it, we're not sorry.
We did it, why do you keep on about it?
We didn't do it.
If you go on about it, that proves you hate us.
The peace of gardening is for everyone @STGPSCamberwell for pollinators, for plants, for people. @RHSSchools #ChelseaBeeGarden @SouthwarkCofE

Green alkanet, a weed? Not in (literally) my book. Not 'weedy' enough & too sensitive to 'pressure'. It makes good compost once flowering is done, being transferred by spade to the compost bin. Smaller ones will remain to support wildlife next year.
Seems to be that some people are interested in languages but not in plants. To me each is as much about communication and understanding as the other.
So here is a treat for those who agree 💚🪱🐝🌿🎶

Another sunny gardening session. We planted a few seeds outside but mainly we turned compost, delighted in worms and millipedes, spread another layer on our no-dig beds
What a week! On Wednesday @STGPSCamberwell hosted @RHSSchools team awayday. It was informative, fun, tasty and sunny. Lunch incl. own grown produce @sfmtweet @lb_southwark Thursday was all about #compost #coproduction 💚🐝🥕🦋🪱🐜🐌🕷️@capital_growth #BioDiversitySurvey @vickihird

There can be no justification for this.

@rescueorg calls the imminent famine in Gaza “a profound failure of humanity.”
