The eye of a rose chafer. So many details in such a small space. With macro photography, thousands of motifs can be found on a single insect.
Richard’s cards are so beautiful - gift them or keep them & frame them - it’s difficult to decide! You’ll definitely need to get a pack to keep as well as a pack (or two) to send.
I'm drawing #Christmas tree cards again – every card has an original sketch. Frame them or gift to someone very special.

The spectacular Emperor moth is Britain's only resident member of the Saturniidae family. It is reasonably common over much of Britain, occupying moorland and open country. The males, which have bright orange hindwings, fly during the daytime in search of the greyer females, which fly at night. Both sexes are on the wing in April and May.
