This is what France needs. The autists to go ultra instinct and stand up. This photo deserves a Pulitzer. The autism shield says “Not today, villains.” He’s channeling his inner Goku. Iconic photo.
This is happening exactly as I called it 😬
First part has already taken place.
Second part in motion.
(Liquidity takes some time to move)
A lot of doubters in the comments just a month ago.
The TCG Landscape Is Shifting
The 30th anniversary will mark the end of Modern Pokémon being viewed as a quality investment class within TCGs.
There will still be plenty of collectors. The artwork is extremely popular, the IP is timeless, and the abundance of modern product makes it incredibly easy to collect.
But that abundance is also the problem.
There is an enormous amount of money currently tied up in Modern Pokémon sealed product and slabs. As supply continues to expand and the market becomes increasingly saturated, a meaningful portion of that capital will eventually start looking for stronger assets elsewhere.
Enter Dragon Ball
This is where Dragon Ball Fusion World enters parabolic growth.
The timing could not align much better. Capital begins searching for scarcer assets at the same time Dragon Ball anime and content resume, bringing one of the most globally beloved IPs and its new flagship TCG into center stage.
There is also a generational component here. A massive portion of the Dragon Ball fanbase that grew up with DBZ is now entering its 30s and 40s, with significantly more disposable income to put toward nostalgia and collecting.
The Scarcity Multiplier
Dragon Ball doesn’t need Pokémon-sized capital flows for the effect to be enormous. The investable supply of desirable Dragon Ball cards is dramatically smaller. Even a fraction of the capital currently sitting in Modern Pokémon rotating into this market could have an outsized impact.
And Dragon Ball has something Modern Pokémon could not be further from having right now: Scarcity.
The scarcity of Fusion World, combined with the diehard nature and global scale of the Dragon Ball fandom, will show the TCG space what an absolute monster Dragon Ball cards can become over the coming years.
And I don’t think this will be limited to Fusion World.
Super Divers, vintage Dragon Ball, and potentially select cards from other sets will benefit as well.
Obviously, Dragon Ball won’t be the only beneficiary of this search for liquidity. Gundam, Riftbound, and other emerging TCG markets will absorb some of that capital as well.
But of all of them, I believe Dragon Ball has the ingredients to be the biggest mover.
The Opportunity
The biggest opportunities in collectibles rarely come from discovering the next great IP. They come from recognizing when an already proven one is dramatically underrepresented by its collectibles market.
That is where I believe Dragon Ball sits today.
The demand doesn’t need to appear overnight, and Dragon Ball cards don’t need to become Pokémon. With supply this thin, the equation changes quickly as more collectors begin competing for the same genuinely scarce cards.
Fusion World can be the catalyst that finally brings that attention to the broader Dragon Ball card ecosystem.
When that happens, I think people will look back at this period and wonder how cards from an IP of this magnitude, with this level of scarcity, were ever valued this cheaply.
Aside from DBZ, which is your favorite?

🐉Dragon Ball🐉 is Bandai's #1 worldwide IP... Meanwhile, it's TCG is so small in comparison to just how powerful this IP actually is.
The One Piece Card Game exploded while the franchise was everywhere:
• Active manga
• Weekly anime
• Netflix live action
• LEGO
• Global events
• Major collaborations
Now look at Dragon Ball.
Bandai Namco FY2025.3 IP sales:
Dragon Ball — ¥190.6B
One Piece — ¥139.5B
Dragon Ball is the LARGER and STRONGER IP yet FUSION WORLD's footprint is much much smaller.
The Catalysts are stacking:
🐉 DBS returns this month
🐉 Galactic Patrol is in production
📖 DBS manga is continuing
🍔 Burger King x Dragon Ball
👟 Converse x DBZ
🧱 LEGO x Dragon Ball
🎮 Xenoverse 3
Dragon Ball is beginning to start an engine that I don't believe gets turned off for the next 10 YEARS. Let that sink in.
Anime. Manga. Gaming. Fashion. Food. Collaborations. Collectibles. A constant new stream of new content and new ways for people to interact with one of the biggest IPs in the world and FUSION WORLD will be along for the ride.
One Piece showed what sustained IP momentum can do for a TCG. What happens when it's Dragon Ball's turn? 🐉🌎
Dragon Ball is a ~$1.2B/year printing machine for Bandai.
And almost nobody is looking at what that could mean for its TCG.
Bandai reported roughly $1.2B in Dragon Ball IP sales in FY2025.
One Piece did roughly $878M
Dragon Ball generated ~37% more IP sales than One Piece.
Without even running a anime for most of that time.
Now imagine what happens when the content pipeline finally comes back this and next year.
Think about it.
One Piece TCG became one of the biggest TCGs in the world in just a few years.
Now look at Dragon Ball.
A ~$1.2B IP ecosystem sitting behind a TCG that is still tiny compared to One Piece.
Fusion World is still dramatically smaller than One Piece Card Game, despite Dragon Ball being the larger Bandai IP by annual sales.
Its crazy how early we still are. We are barely at the beginning, and we are already starting to see serious traction with ST01.
One Piece proved how powerful a Bandai TCG can become when the IP and card game finally catch up with each other.
Im watching to see what happens when Dragon Ball gets the same attention soon.
Because right now, the size of the IP and the size of the TCG dont match.
My 4 favorite Dragon Ball cards purely from a visual standpoint right now.
Quote RT this post with yours.
(Nearly impossible to pick 4 btw)
Vintage Dragon Ball - 1992 Carddass #507.
All 4 saiyans in Super Saiyan form.
Probably my favorite vintage group shot.
Vintage Dragon Ball - 1991 Carddass #294.
First TCG card of Goku in Super Saiyan form.
A lot of people say Fusion World’s biggest problem is a lack of players.
Well, get ready. A tsunami of players is coming.
Imagine how many people new to TCG will love the ease of learning with this.
This is the single greatest line of bullish propoganda ever and it’s true
It literally gets cheaper as it gets more expensive
To a trillion with haste
Tulip King explains why Zcash demand scales exponentially with wealth
"If you have $1000 you don't care if people know, you'll fully dox your wallet and P&L. But if you have $1M, maybe you want to keep $100k private. If you have $1B, maybe you want to hide half of that. The richest people in the world aren't Elon, they're the Saudi royal family, Putin, Kim Jong-un, autocrats who basically own entire GDPs. 100% of their money is private."
"So there's an exponential return to privacy where the richer you are, the higher percent of your money you want private. As Zcash gets bigger and can absorb larger flows, larger players buy it with a higher percent of their net worth, which creates this multiplier effect being pulled from the top. Privacy compounds in the shielded pool, the pool gets bigger, it becomes more private, so it's plus EV to hold because every block it gets better. That's how you get Zcash to a trillion."
Fusion World hot take:
I think E-43 and E-44 are overhyped GEMs and won’t always be in the top 5.
E-42, E-90 and E-60 are definitely in there.
I think the other spots are between E-73, E-57 and E-52.
I think over time the market stops putting such a premium on 43 and 44.
