I understand people thinking govt is more efficient, not because it is, but because it appears to be at first glance. “This costs me $1000 from a private business & $500 from the government!” Well, it actually costs you $5000 but in some very obfuscated ways, & you’re not free.

Conservatives used to understand that not every national problem is a federal responsibility. Now every crisis apparently requires a presidential order, a new spending program or a trade restriction. The Constitution keeps getting smaller while Washington gets bigger.

Your house is not getting more expensive. Your dollar is becoming worth less. Few people actually understand this. END THE FED.

How is it that every single woman you know has been raped or knows someone who has, a woman on Threads asks? Because the definition of rape has expanded through the concept creep of nonconsent. Affirmative consent changed the standard so that you don't have to say no; you just have to not explicitly say yes for an encounter to count as nonconsensual. The definition of nonconsent has continued to expand to include silence, insufficient enthusiasm, any level of intoxication, or feeling in any way influenced to consent. Anyone who has had an experience like this can now say they've been raped.

Being a libertarian doesn’t mean you advocate for degeneracy. It just means you don’t want to impede on another’s right to be a degenerate. I spoke at the Christians for Liberty Conference this weekend. I was extremely nervous giving a speech about the Gospel and applying Christian faith and practice in our lives to a bunch of pastors, priests and theologians, but I'm happy to report that the AALC pastor and the Orthodox priest I spoke with afterwards both affirmed that I said nothing heretical. My speech was about how we already know that God wins in the end, and how we've effectively used loving our enemies as a strategy to win consistently at @YATPOfficial. Thank you to @LCIOfficial for inviting me to come and speak. God Bless you all.

Good question for leftists… If the government is owned by big corporations, and corporations would love to be unregulated… Why don’t big corporations support Ron Paul free market types?

You may think you want to live in a country that televises executions but I'm confident you do not. A pall fell over this nation after 9/11 and we can't seem to escape it. Increasingly barbaric and militaristic. Becoming the monsters we set out to slay.

What’s sad is this guy can accurately explain what capitalism is, but the VP can’t define socialism. This is why the Republicans are going to lose. People are not dumb, and they can tell when they are getting the slip.
Q: How do you define socialism personally? JD VANCE: I think in reality what it actually means in the American context is you want to replace American workers with foreigners workers, and you want boys to play in girls' sports

I have an idea… as I said years ago, the queer fad reminded me of the goth, emo, scene era’s. Something to be part of for those looking for a place to fit in. Then it got too big to be counter-culture, so it will shift to something else.
Young teenagers are less likely to identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual than a few years ago, according to a new analysis. “It really does look like a free fall,” Jean Twenge, a professor of psychology, said. “But what’s causing it is unclear.” wapo.st/4dtMSyQ

When the economy is hurting every day voters, what other parents allow their kids to do is not even a top 10 issue to normie voters. It’s just not, and it makes the GOP look out of touch, when their response to $6 diesel is “but the children.” It was one aspect of a larger referendum against woke 1.0 and cultural Marxism. But 2024 was more about the Biden economy than anything else, which is why normies are abandoning the GOP now.
This election is going to be about the economy. And that’s why the GOP is losing support from men. Trump won them by 12 in 2024 and Democrats have a 4 point lead now. No amount of fear mongering about ‘transing’ kids is going to make voters look at their grocery bill and the fact they don’t have a job and think ‘eh this isn’t so bad.’

This. It is again clear that those in charge don’t understand the mindset of radical Islamic fundamentalist. And desensitizing people to watching someone get shot to death, only makes killing a more natural occurrence to people.
I’m sorry but this is completely deranged. I sympathize with the thirst for vengeance, and Nidal Hasan certainly deserves to die for what he did… but a public execution is giving a terrorist exactly what he wants: publicity. They fantasize about being martyred like this, in front of a crowd (and a live TV audience???). It’s ISIS recruitment slop. One of the worst ideas in a long time.
