No one gets the goal posts moved on them quite like Caleb Williams.
Don’t underestimate how much of the fuss about Irsay on the sidelines came from the “friend of the show” Chris Ballard himself
We have our first casualty of the 2026 #NFL season — #ForTheShoe has let go of GM Chris Ballard after Sunday's shocking home loss to previously winless Tennessee:
COLTS FIRE GM CHRIS BALLARD
@DisneyPlus @ESPNRadio
Yall shit on Irsay daughter jus cuz she tryna learn da game from up close & she a woman & they don’t like that, but your fav team owner wouldn’t drop their nuts like this

The Jalen Hurts situation is obviously the most serious and egregious. But reports suggested Lane Johnson wanted to retire this offseason because of his mental health issues, but the Eagles brass talked him out of it. Dickerson and Jurgens came back too soon from injuries and it’s derailed their careers. Something isn’t right when it comes to how the Eagles approach player safety. Questions need to be asked regarding the Eagles medical staff and top decision makers.
Good news is healthy young people can and do clear these clots all the time. I hope they’ve ruled out the other typical causes instead of assuming it was the injury.
Or he regressed to the mean. What Sam Darnold accomplished last year was remarkable, but there’s a large body of evidence that suggests this IS who he is, especially if you can get consistent pressure on him
In case you were wondering how the rest of the league sees him (you can’t have been after the last few weeks though, right?)
Ulbrich on Caleb Williams: This is my first time going against him. ... Now that I've gotten the opportunity to really study him, he's not just the face of the franchise. He's one of the faces of the NFL, of the league. It's going to be a great challenge. #Falcons

Ty Dunne heard that Eberflus and Waldron wanted to save themselves by scapegoating Caleb Williams and going to Tyson Bagent and Ryan Poles stopped them and instead of concluding those two are incredibly bad football coaches he thought he'd found football Watergate.

Caleb Williams:
"My character has been attacked for a while"
It's true and it's nonsense.
I’ve been promising for years he’d do this if he could stay healthy. Fingers crossed.
Two days before the #Jets game, #Bears DE Austin Booker expressed to Me that he wasn’t happy with his role on the team. He wanted more playing time. In the two games since then Booker has 3 sacks and 4TFLs.
Today, I asked him if he’d changed his approach in the past couple weeks. He said, “No. When the snap count goes up, the production goes up.”

One of my favorite Mike Ditka moments is when the Bears retired his number and sweater at halftime. Legendary speech! 🐻⬇️

First tight end in the Hall of Fame.
Still the only Hall of Fame player to win a Super Bowl as a head coach.
Definitely the only coach to try to fight his defensive coordinator in the locker room during that title season.

MIKE DIKTA HAD ONE OF THE MOST ELECTRIC HIGHLIGHT REELS IN #NFL HISTORY.
Rest in peace to an icon and trailblazer of the tight end position.
