These meetings represent the start of a planned programme of stakeholder engagement with Maori and other interested parties as Sunda seeks to become an active and responsible participant in New Zealand's energy sector.

Meetings included a physical hui in Marokopa, attended by almost 100 people representing a number of hapu of Ngati Maniapoto, as well as a series of other online and in-person discussions.

Accompanied by Chris Wikaira of BRG, Andy met with representatives of Ngati Maniapoto, Ngati Mutunga and Ngati Tama.

A number of introductory consultation meetings were held with Maori iwi (nations) and hapū (clans) to discuss potential future activities in the offshore application area.
