Small snippet of stuff getting posted to masto: This is a Kodiak NotePort, obscure competitor to the Xircom Pocket Ethernet line. They were owned by SEEQ, which got bought by LSI in '99. This is from '92. Got it for $10 on ebay, and it works perfectly with the crynwr driver!

Uh, I guess something seriously broke. This better be a temporary outage and not a hushed end of third party API apps. For context, this is from the account of the app I've been using for the better part of... 7 years now? because it worked. And now it and others are broken.

Welp, looks like it's official until otherwise noted, third party clients according to the new developer agreement that was updated silently, are no longer allowed. what's sad about this entire debacle is, I saw it coming. I knew this was going to happen. but is it legal?

oh yeah never did do the update pic, the adapter works, but ended up killing the two DVD drives I had up front by accident. they shared a plug with an inline fan adapter I had backwards to run at 5v. forgot to do the same with the replacement supply. oops. but, I had spares.

So if you need a PSU adapter for one of these things, or a Precision 420 or a Dimension 8100 etc., get it, but VERIFY THE WIRING on the adapter first. I had to rewire mine to be right. you may get lucky but don't count your blessings. also verify your 5v rail is over 20A.

more Elite screenshots, got a nice one before leaving the Eagle nebula, and we picked up a hitchhiker in Rohini on his way to Colonia. made it almost 9,000Ly with an upgraded but non-engineered DBX, going since the summer... I am in awe of his sanity levels.
