I'm disgusted by the greed and anti-consumer behavior of @EA and @EASPORTSCollege. We know you're a for profit company, but when you do crap like this it's just a reminder to us all that every time you try to sell us on caring about gaming communities you're just full of it. You've massively damaged the goodwill you've been building up in this community. Absolutely foolish choices.

Just to be super clear - Texas Tech is playing around with the ranking here to sound more impressive than it is. They looked at the global ranking, then sorted it by universities in the U.S., and then ranked themselves based on where they are among US universities in the global ranking. Some folks are confusing that with the actual national rankings. They are different rankings entirely. Tech is rated #198 in the actual national ranking - tied with OSU at the bottom of the Big 12. Tech is just below the middle of the pack in global ranking.

When you see the B1G and SEC accounts absolutely melting down you know something good for college football is coming.

There you go. Confirmation that Tech had every intention of trying to circumvent Sorsbys ineligibility through that TRO so they could actually play him. Until everyone else fought back to protect the integrity of the game. Yet Tech and their fans are patting themselves on the back for "doing the right thing?" Wild.

I have to wonder - despite the "#1 QB" ranking in the transfer portal - did bigger dogs realize it's risky to take a dual threat QB who is coming off a foot injury and showed poor leadership on his way out? I have to think Leavitt didn't want to end up at Kentucky of all schools when he chose to enter the portal. I don't wish poorly on Leavitt. But there would be a little vindication for ASU if Leavitt ends up at a bottom feeder SEC school given the way he treated his teammates on the way out.

For Michigan fans still wrapping their heads around what just happened. This was maybe the one college football coach you couldn't just buy.

I know it's kind of melodramatic, but college football is such a unifier. It brings communities together, families together, and enriches local economies. It isn't just a game. It does go beyond that. @KennyDillingham, you are a special person. Not just because we all love the direction you're taking the program, but because your loyalty to our community is inspiring. Thank you for choosing to stay with us despite an opportunity for fairly extreme personal enrichment. College football has lost its way, but you haven't, and you're a reminder that the soul of college football is still there and can be revived if coaches and players choose that. As ASU fans who watched Fisch slither into and out of Tucson, I find it deeply amusing that Michigan may end up with him as a plan B after they were unable to rip Dilly away from us. The past few days have been a lot of fun.
