I need everyone to watch this so I can release the producer's cut after. It's called the producer's cut because I leave in the parts where I'm rudely insulted and have to keep editing while wounded.
Interviewing Cynthia was a highlight of the event. It was such a treat to get insight into her larp journey and then witness her in action the next night.
Oh my! Thank you @SummonedStories for this wonderful interview at the Darkness Emergent event from @ByNightStudios !

You're telling me plot drives character development? A self-serving therapy session isn't the only option for growth? Friction in group dynamics can be fun to explore and rushing to smooth them out is toothless storytelling? Narrative payoff is more satisfying when earned???????

Happy birthday to the person I fear more than anyone. I also respect them immensely. Everyone keep your eyes on April this year. They're working on amazing things, but it's also a good general safety tip.
Going through pics and need to share some @ByNightStudios moments. This is a favorite.
First time seeing them, stumbled into their picture, realized they had hats like me. They saw my excitement, welcomed me in, and we got like 20 pics while I failed to deliver important info. 🧵
Blurry stills from my vids, but too important not to share. The Freeman Sisters held a stoop talk session that was so damn funny. I tried not breaking anyone's immersion, but these two had me losing it. Can't wait to share some of their quotes in my recap vid. /
I took a stroll through the Canada At Midnight larp at The Palette and Chisel and the vibes were immaculate.
Shout out to the C@M team for letting me crash your event and the players for being so welcoming while I larped knowing how to use a camera.

For years I've tried and failed to stop @VynVoxVa. In that time he has honed his craft, accomplished so much, and grown as a person in incredible ways with no signs of stopping. Today is his birthday, which marks another year I've failed. Proud of you, Vyn. Watch your back.
Darkness Emergent blew away my expectations of what a larp event is. Not only was the larp itself impressive, but the weekend also captured the best parts of a convention. From the brand new to seasoned pros, I met so many cool larpers that made the weekend one to remember.
