ਖਰੜ ਵਿਚ 29 ਮਾਰਚ 2019 ਨੂੰ ਡਰੱਗ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਨੇਹਾ ਸ਼ੋਰੀ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਤਲ ਮੋਰਿੰਡਾ ਵਿਚਲੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਸਟੋਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਨੇਹਾ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵੇਚਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਲਾਇਸੰਸ ਕੈਂਸਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਲਾਇਸੰਸ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਸੋ ਨੇਹਾ ਨੇ ਨਾਮੰਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਨਾ ਨੇਹਾ ਸੌਰੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਚ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਨਾ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲਗਾਈ ਸੀ, ਨਾ ਉਸਦਾ ਘਰ ਢਾਹਿਆ ਸੀ, ਨਾ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੰਗੀਆਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਘੁਮਾਓਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
