Star Citizen may finally be giving players a reason to stay in one region. I tested Nyx I’s new Starchitect hubs, local contracts, and Guild Halls. The interesting part was not the technology. It was what happened when players actually started gathering there. #starcitizen

I Played Evocati's Genesis and Starchitect Tech-Preview! My thoughts: - There are captitals scattered around Nyx I, like Shubin Capital. These have Guild Halls. Upon arriving, I saw 7 other ships that were actually being used and not abandoned, so the quest-hub feel CIG was going for has worked. - The Guild Halls have a Guild Contracts screen with kiosks under them a player can use. The kiosk has tabs like Shubin Interstellar and Adagio Holdings. The tabs have the missions you can choose from, much like your mobiglass. There missions are localized to the Guild Hall location. My playthrough this morning was short, but enough to see CIG accomplishing localized missions and achieving quest hubs that I, personally, imagined Distribution Centers would have been. #starcitizen
