What an honor it was for me to join @Navy_ES students and staff to celebrate our veterans and their families! I am so proud of our students, who learned that the freedoms we enjoy in this country are thanks to the sacrifices of these brave men and women.

It was a great night at the Taste of Chantilly @Chantilly_HS. I loved visiting the clubs & tasting goodies the students had prepared, but most of all I loved all the parents, teachers, & students who came up to say hi! Sadly, I was busy enjoying the event & left with no pictures.
It was great to cheer on the Westfield Bulldogs @GoBulldogsXC in our district yesterday at Bull Run Park. Many of our middle schoolers were also competing in our first ever FCPS middle school cross country races. I’m excited we have started these middle school sports offerings!
It was wonderful to participate in the 15th Annual Asha-Jyothi 5K on Sunday with Supt. Reid, principals, staff & so many of our students from FCPS! @asha_jyothi, a volunteer-based global nonprofit, supports the community & has given over $250,000 to FCPS. I am so grateful to AJ!
