ALT Call for Paper for WIN Special Issue: Women as Participants in Neuropsychology Research. This special issue is a collaboration between The Clinical Neuropsychologist (TCN) and Women in Neuropsychology (WIN). Co-editors: Erin Sullivan-Baca, Ph.D., Rachel Ellison, Ph.D., and Stella Kim, Psy.D. Content of the special issue: The overarching focus of this special issue is to highlight women as participants in neuropsychology research, with the goal of encouraging research and clinical endeavors focused on this under-studied population. Specifically, we seek to include reviews and empirical articles focused on women’s unique physiological, hormonal, psychiatric, and psychosocial presentations that contribute to their neurocognitive functioning.

ALT Submission process: Authors interested in submitting review articles, survey data, professional discussions, or calls to action should submit a letter of intent with a title and brief abstract outlining their idea to Special Issue Guest Editors (please include all editors in your email: Erin Sullivan-Baca, Ph.D. [email protected]; Rachael Ellison, Ph.D. [email protected]; Stella Kim, Psy.D. [email protected]) to ensure their topic does not overlap with articles that have already been solicited for the special issue. These should be sent to the Guest Editors by Friday, February 10, 2023 at 11:59 PM CST to be considered. Following this pre-submission process, authors should follow the June 2 deadline below for submitting their full manuscript. If you have questions, please contact the Special Issue Guest Editors (please include all editors in your email).

ALT WIN Research Highlights are a new series. We'll be sharing research publications focused on women and gender non-binary individuals who are historically underrepresented in research and understudied in training and didactic presentations. The goal is to disseminate these highlights to inform clinical practice and inspire future research!
