Hats off to Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, President of Croatia. She attended every Croatia match at the World Cup, travelled in economy class and sat with the fans in the stadium. She refused to take any pay for her days not at work.

On that note. Tennis is the purest of all sports IMO. When all is said & done, it’s one on one! No timeouts, no going back to your corner to strategise with your coach. No relying on somebody else, no hiding place. On that court you’re on your own.

I can’t deal with people saying the Eng players were too tired, fatigued, one game too many.
You got Anderson playing 21hrs of tennis before today’s Wimbledon final, Nole playing 16hrs. Please! Tiredness can’t be used as an excuse when you’re a professional in your sport.
