Some users are only there to farm airdrops. They hop from one ecosystem to another, chasing the next reward. When the tokens are distributed and the excitement fades, they leave. What's left is empty communities and very few people who genuinely care about the project's future. A few months later, the same cycle starts again with a new project. Of course, not every NFT project is worthless, and airdrops can be a legitimate way to attract early users. But attracting people with free rewards is not the same as giving them a reason to stay. If your community disappears the moment the rewards stop, did you ever really build a community?

Hype Is Easy. Building Something That Lasts Is Hard. One of the things that bothers me most about crypto is how often sustainability is an afterthought. A new project launches. Big promises, fancy websites, AI-generated content, shiny JPEG collections and the promise of free tokens through airdrops... Everyone is talking about it. But how many people actually care about what the project is building?

Gm Gm 🤙🏻 I’m trying to get back to my old hobbies and routines after Token2049 and SuiBasecamp 🏄‍♂️

Everything in blockchain can be forked or copied. But unity, trust, community spirit, and the culture built around a network can never be replicated. That’s exactly what makes $Sui different: being part of a culture that goes beyond technology. @EmanAbio

In Web3, you can fork the code. But you can’t copy a real community, the connections built between people, or the experiences shared together. The @SuiCommunity reminded me of this once again. @SuiRunClub @EmanAbio

This year, I attended #SuiBasecamp in Singapore for the second time, and we successfully completed our @SuiRunClub running event. 🏃‍♂️💙 A huge thank you to my teammates who stood by me throughout this journey, and especially to @SuiGkim and @unceenc for providing us with all the support and resources we needed. Together, we created an amazing experience and an incredible community energy. Now, all eyes are on @Token2049 New York. 🇺🇸
