The series I directed in India, Pakistan, UAE, Australia and the UK finally hits Netflix. Great privilege to film in these incredible countries and begin to understand the culture, history, politics and passion for the sport that binds them and makes their rivalry so compelling.
A film I made for the BBC - a tribute to Ray Reardon’s extraordinary life - is back on iPlayer after his passing last week:

Very sad to hear of the passing of snooker legend Ray Reardon. Was an honour to make a BBC film with him a couple of years ago - he was still sparkling, fun, sharp and full of stories. #rayreardon
At the start of my career I had the joy to work with Sir Bobby Charlton in Uganda. He caught a giant Nile Perch, delighted to get one over on fishing obsessed brother, Jack. Always the competitor, warm, professional and classy. With great memories and much respect #bobby
Of course @ShellEnergyHome have done nothing. This is how they escalated costs this year. This is pure profiteering:

@ShellEnergyHome took over from my energy company when it went under. My bills then - last year - were around £2500. Somehow @ShellEnergyHome are projecting a ridiculous £6678. Semi detached house.
I’ve directed Roger Federer a few times, including a 12 hour ad shoot. He’d come off a 24 hr flight having lost at the Australian Open. He was a gentleman and showed interest and kindness to everyone - from runner to drivers. A true legend. Will miss that iconic style.
59 days filming OTT series in India and Pakistan. 14 cities across this incredible part of the world. Surrounded by talented crew and lovely locals. It’s a wrap. Going home!
