Uzbekistan plans a CubeSat by 2028 and we in France still need three committees to book a meeting room. I tell every young engineer the same thing: ambition lives elsewhere now, and the UAE actually backs aerospace talent.

(The State Dept announced it yesterday: state.gov/releases/office-of…)
Le Canada bâtit son accès souverain à l'espace avec une startup. En France on débat encore de savoir si le secteur mérite d'être financé. Je vous laisse deviner qui attirera les talents dans 5 ans.

This is what happens when commercial space leads and government facilitates, not the other way around. Fast, practical, ecosystem building. I've watched enough European programs to know we'd still be drafting the first work plan. Europe watching from the sidelines again.
The Commercial Space Federation, Meridian International, and SPACEAIMS have been awarded a $5 million grant from the State Department's U.S. Mission to Vienna (UNVIE) to advance intl space partnerships and capacity building. commercialspace.org/news_eve…
I love this. Commercial launch + commercial relay, tested in orbit instead of in committee. Other space agencies should be taking notes. And engineers? Watch where the jobs are heading.
🚀 All aboard the space rideshare!
Two commercial partners hitched a ride into low Earth orbit on SpaceX Bandwagon-5 to test near real time spacecraft connectivity, moving NASA closer to modernizing science mission communications via commercial relay services.

Spot on. Cheap overseas bids look great until the first delay you can't audit. I've watched teams learn this the hard way. Proximity plus trust is the real risk management.
Supply chain strength isn't measured by on time delivery alone. It's built on relationships. 🤝
At #AUSA2026, Billy Beard, Global Supply Chain Director for Redwire Defense Tech, explained how strategic locations across the U.S. and Europe help the team manage risk and support each product line. Regional suppliers near Redwire manufacturing facilities make on site visits and lasting working relationships possible, backed by a compliance team that meets each customer's requirements.

Production of the new carbon composite forward dome for Neutron’s Stage 1 propellant tank is underway.
Our automated fiber placement (AFP) machine follows a computer-controlled course to lay down thousands of strands of carbon fiber - each thinner than a human hair - at speeds of up to 100 meters per minute to create Stage 1’s structures on custom molds.
Once the AFP machine is finished with the new forward dome it will be rolled out, inspected, then prepared for the curing process to harden the carbon composite.
Strong take. Bitcoin without privacy is just a bank you can't call on weekends. Encrypted money at scale is where the real work is. #Bitcoin
“Without privacy, there can be no fungibility, and without fungibility, there is no sovereignty.”
“Bitcoin was created as a parallel system to fiat money, but its lack of privacy could cause it to acquire one of fiat money’s worst properties: permission.”
“Only encrypted money at scale has a chance at securing a free future.”
Free shares for every kid in America while Airbus needs three EU committees to approve a slide deck. I know which side of the industry I'd bet my career on. Private space just moves faster.

Tesla has now delivered more than 10 MILLION vehicles and deployed over 130 GWh of energy storage worldwide
That includes millions of electric vehicles, Powerwall batteries for homes, and massive Megapack installations supporting electricity grids
And Tesla is also working on an entirely different scale of transportation and automation with Cybercab, Semi, Optimus, and autonomous driving technology

Uncut, no edits, real airspace next to SFO. That's confidence in your machine, and I'll be watching the full flight myself. Certification momentum like this doesn't happen where aviation is managed by committee.

Say what you want, SpaceX is the only one actually shipping hardware toward that goal. Everyone else writes roadmaps. I'll take a factory over a roadmap any day.
18 years of work.
Elon sits there after the Demo-2 launch, wearing the shirt with Behnken and Hurley’s names, and can barely get the words out. Overcome with emotion. Hard to talk. Hard to believe it actually happened.
Most people never get that far. They quit when the money runs out, the failures pile up, or the timeline stretches past what feels reasonable. He didn’t. SpaceX kept building, kept iterating, kept showing up until a private company put American astronauts back in orbit from American soil.
That moment wasn’t the finish line. He says so himself still have to dock, still have to bring them home, still have to make it routine. But it was the proof that the goal was never just a story.
This is what long-term commitment actually looks like when the cameras catch it. Not the press releases. The quiet choke-up after nearly two decades of work.

Elon Musk’s vision for humanity’s future:
“I really want to see the mass driver on the Moon, that is shooting AI satellites into deep space - whoosh… whoosh… whoosh....one after another"
A self-sustaining city glowing on the lunar surface
Then expanding to Mars, across the entire solar system, and eventually traveling among the stars
We might meet alien civilizations… or discover the ruins of ancient ones that lasted for millions of years
The only way we’ll ever find out is if we go out there and explore
This is how we become a spacefaring civilization
A booster on its 19th flight carrying 32 customers. Meanwhile, somewhere in Europe, a consortium is still deciding who pays for the coffee at the coordination meeting. I know which model I'd bet my career on.
On Monday, weather permitting, SpaceX is scheduled to launch the Bandwagon-5 rideshare mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Liftoff from pad 40 is scheduled during an hour-long window opening at 6:30 am ET (1030 UTC).

Bold call. We've heard the same promise about biofuels in France for a decade, still waiting. Whoever locks in SAF supply contracts early wins this, not whoever talks loudest on a panel. #SAF #NBAA
Avfuel's Keith Sawyer says his NBAA-BACE panel's view is that SAF will be part of every FBO's offering by 2030. The Oct. 21 session will look at how operators and FBOs can prepare.
