Very happy to hear @VivekGRamaswamy is doubling down on the ad. Zero trial. Zero conviction. We don’t make false rape accusations in America. If you accuse someone of rape you need evidence. Enough evidence for a trial and conviction. Amy Acton is a radical leftist. A vote for Amy is a vote for the Islamic communist takeover of America. Vote for @VivekGRamaswamy

I’m hearing from friends in Alberta that today is actually hitting folks pretty hard. Not the vote to remain, which was a relief, but the other 9 questions. It’s becoming clear that the feeling of unity suggested by the referendum result is undercut by majority support for questions which feature policies that scapegoat migrants. But no amount of punching down by Danielle Smith will fix Alberta’s health care, public education or cost-of-living crises. These are the consequences of years of underfunding, not of newcomers trying to build a life in that beautiful province. Albertans deserve real solutions to the crises they face, not scapegoating that divides us and fuels prejudice. Right now, all Canadians have an opportunity to reject this and say: we stand with migrants facing the brunt of this cynical, negative politics. A united Canada must mean more than just rejecting separation. It must mean actually standing up for all of us — building a movement across our differences to make this a country where everyone can live a life of dignity, equality and belonging.

the reality is 1 in 5 albertans still voted to seperate. the majority voted to attack immigrants & healthcare. alberta is a deeply bigoted province with the same US playbook used to tap into people's worst instincts. the culture is systemic & unsalvageable. a province of cattle.
JUST IN: 🇨🇦 Alberta rejects separatism, votes to remain part of Canada.

Yeah idgaf if this makes me the “friend who’s too woke,” this is gross and weird. But I guess it’s pretty in line for the lack of ethics with Epic and their use of AI to have a skin and emote about a r*pe victim who didn’t have any agency of her body for 90% of the movie

447,000 Albertans voted to separate from Canada. That number is way too fucking high. Alberta is fucking wild.

In Niagara, you pay taxes so that the provincial government can spend it removing bike lanes in Toronto while the local hospital lays off 100 of your neighbours, many of whom are still cleaning up from summer floods. #DougFordIsCorrupt

The more Donald Trump keeps yapping and the far right politicians in Canada keep leaning in to his rhetoric, the more Carney’s popularity increases, despite the fact that Mark Carney himself is a conservative in every way except the party affiliation.
Mark Carney has the highest approval rating in Canadian history. Meanwhile, Danielle Smith and Pierre Poilievre are at record lows. Maybe it’s time to rethink conservatism in Canada?

Billy. This is your lawyer. Your extreme cocaine/ketamine jaw and audible sniffs make you seem totally well adjusted and normal actually
Everyone might be posting today about Charlie. But I'll do the same 3-5 years from now

I think redacted cemented a queen status in this actually
Just to be clear because I'm getting some heat in the comments -- Elizabeth Holmes is a sociopath, Billy Evans is a PSYCHOPATH, and I thought [Redacted] did not come out of this looking the best BUT she should have at least two Oscars. And fuck Charlie Kirk, too.

it’s very cool how by the end of the movie both Lance Oppenheim and Amanda Seyfried have clocked that Nathan is a compromised narrator (and clearly Nathan does to) due to being drawn in by Elizabeth Holmes’s doe eyed vulnerability shtick, but frame it incredibly well in film.

The 1st time you watch the movie as a study of Liz and Billy, but it really becomes a masterpiece when you see how Nathan is exploring his relationship to truth in his comedy and life through her. It's so interesting to marinate on
