Quarantine has finally given me the time to clean out my attic. I haven't done it, but the time is there.

I’ve made clear my view on this report. I’m not ‘enjoying’ or ‘embracing’ an ‘opportunity’. I’m just doing what I judge best in very difficult circumstances. That said, I understand the scrutiny that comes with it and accept Sarah’s clarification. For me, the matter is closed.
On last night’s News at Ten I said @NicolaSturgeon had “enjoyed the opportunity to set her own lockdown rules”I should have said she was “embracing” the opportunity to set a separate policy for Scotland. I never meant to suggest she is enjoying this crisis. Of course she is not

Never in my entire political career have I ‘enjoyed’ anything less than this. My heart breaks every day for all those who have lost loved ones to this virus.
This report from the BBC News at 10 is shameful

You can't prevent bad things from happening, but you can stop focusing on them and giving them power. Here's how. bit.ly/3dMZlfM

COVID-19 will fundamentally change the way we travel around our city. That’s why today, @TfL and I are announcing our plans to make central London one of the largest car-free zones in any capital city in the world, increasing walking and cycling and improving our air quality.

I know it gets harder as the weeks go on, but PLEASE #StayAtHome this weekend (except for essential purposes ie food/medicine and exercise). You are making a difference and saving lives. Let’s stick with it for a bit longer to get this virus properly under control. Thank you 🙏

Why are some people so threatened by new evidence replacing old wisdom. Finding out you were wrong doesn't make you weak. It makes you stronger because you have the truth now. Learning is good. Have a lovely day.
