You can make $20-40k a month from a YouTube channel that sells nothing, has no product, and never once asks anyone to buy anything
You don't sell to the viewer. You sell the viewer
Pay per lead is a real market and it's enormous. Roofing, solar, HVAC, water treatment, legal, insurance, senior living, pest control. Companies buy leads at $50-300 each, every day, and the ones they're buying are garbage
Here's what they're currently paying for: someone who clicked a Google ad, filled a form on a comparison site, and got sold to four competitors at once. Half the numbers are fake. Most are price shopping
Here's what you'd be handing them: a homeowner who watched a 14 minute video about what the job actually costs, in his own city, three days before booking it
Same price per lead. Not the same person
The build:
1) Pick one metro area, or one state. Not the country
2) Pick a decision that costs more than $5,000 and frightens people
3) 20 videos answering the price questions. "What a new roof costs in Phoenix in 2026." "What they don't tell you about the $4,200 add-on." Real numbers on screen or it doesn't work
4) A one page site with a form. Name, number, zip, what they need
5) Call five companies in that area and ask what they pay per lead right now. Then offer them exclusive ones
40 leads a month at $250 = $10,000, from a channel with 3,000 subscribers that would make $90 in ad revenue
The reason it holds up: you own the attention, and attention in a local trade is the scarcest thing in that business. Contractors can buy trucks, crews and materials. They cannot buy the 14 minutes
Three things that will sink you if you skip them:
Never sell the same lead to four companies. That's why the lead industry has the reputation it has, and it kills renewals within a month
Don't promise volume you don't have yet. Sell what you produced last month, not what you hope to
And check the rules before you touch legal, insurance, medical or mortgage. Several of them have hard limits on referral fees and you do not want to learn that the expensive way
Nobody needs a product to get paid. They need to be standing where the buyer already is

Going after an older demographic is no secret anymore if you wanna RPMmaxx.
What I like about this channel is that they also doubled down on their best format, which a lot of people don't do for some reason?
So they hit one winner and then they just think they need to keep on innovating, which is wrong.
If you hit the jackpot, just double down as long as the format works for your channel.
This channel found one winning format and ran it six times with a different name each time.
The Mediterranean Diet. 11,100 subs, 49 videos, 1.68 million views.
"Martha Stewart: I'm 85 but I Feel 60. These Are the 5 Foods I Eat Every Single Day" — 514,000 views. 14.9x the channel average.
Then the same title again.
Ringo Starr. 207,000.
William Shatner. 85,000.
Clint Eastwood. 72,000.
John Goodman. 98,000.
Every video is 25 to 27 minutes. Every title is identical apart from a name and two numbers.
The format is doing all of it. An age you didn't expect, a second age that's lower, and five foods. The viewer is 60 and wants to know what the 96 year old knows.
There is no character, no bio, no product, no links. 49 videos and a 34,000 view floor.
Find one sentence that works and change one word in it. That's the entire job.
You can run the whole thing in Subscribr. Idea, script, thumbnail, avatar, finished video, every channel in one place.

I can believe writing a YouTube script or getting a YouTube video idea can be this easier as @subscribrai made it look. Free registration, connecting me with people with the same interest and then generating a content idea and a suitable thumbnail. I will recommend it anytime

I tested @SubscribrAI to see if it could make going from an idea to a finished video easier.
Honestly, I liked it.
Having the script, visuals, video and thumbnail in one place cuts out a lot of the back and forth.
For me, that makes creating feel a lot less overwhelming.

This is so engaging I watched it again even though I had previously seen the video in my FREE month of @SubscribrAI account @boomerrbryan had graciously granted me. Thanks again.

YouTube used to need 5 tools and $677/mo - SEO, scripts, thumbnails, an editor.
@SubscribrAI does all of it in one place.
Channel link → finished video, under 2 hours.
One creator hit 100K subs. Another made $24K off 1.1M views.

AI video is getting REALLY good 🤯
I made this home tour video using nothing but the listing photos from Zillow.
Every photo is meticulously analyzed by AI....
Basically building an internal map of the house.
Then a script is beautifully written and narrated by an AI voiceover.
Next comes the motion.
For each photo I custom craft a video prompt that simulates walking through the room.
And it all comes together with a custom music track designed to match the style of the property.
The National Association of Realtors (NAR) says home tour videos are CRITICAL to 48% of buyers.
But only half of all real estate agents use video.
Now, with AI there is no excuse.
Tag a real estate agent who needs home tour videos like these.

A roofer in Texas told me he spends $14,000/month on Google Ads to get leads.
Then he showed me a plumber in his same city spending $0 who gets more calls than him.
The plumber has a YouTube channel. 26 videos. All shot on an iPhone in under 60 seconds. A kid on Discord edits them into 8-minute how-to videos for $85 each.
"How to fix a running toilet."
"Why your water heater is making that noise."
"3 signs your pipes are about to burst."
Boring as shit. That's the whole point. Nobody is making this content. Search any basic home repair question on YouTube right now. The top results have 2-4 million views on channels with barely any subscribers.
The plumber's videos rank on the first page of YouTube AND Google. Google owns YouTube, so YouTube videos show up in Google search results. Someone in his zip code googles "why is my shower pressure low," his face pops up explaining it, and they call the number in the description.
He gets about 14 calls a month from YouTube. Closes 10. Average job: $1,800. That's $18,000/month in new business from a free channel.
His total production cost: $85/video x 8 videos/month = $680.
The roofer is paying $14,000/month to show up in search results that disappear the second he stops paying. The plumber paid $680 and his videos show up forever. Every video he's ever posted is still generating calls 2 years later.
This works in every single service niche. HVAC, electrical, landscaping, pest control, pool cleaning, pressure washing, garage doors. The less sexy the trade, the less competition on YouTube, the easier it is to rank.
And here's the part that should really fuck with you.
The plumber doesn't even need to be on camera anymore.
There are tools now that generate a consistent AI character. A host that looks and sounds like a real person. Same face every video. You give it your expertise and it gives you a finished video. No filming, no lighting, no "let me do one more take." Just a channel that runs whether you're on a job site or asleep.
Your competitors are still handing Google $14,000/month for ads that vanish overnight. A YouTube channel costs less than their morning coffee budget and runs forever.
We built Subscribr to handle the full pipeline. You bring the knowledge, it builds the channel. Script, host, finished video.
Waitlist link is in bio. Spots are limited.

Google just made the first 100K subscribers worth 10x what they were yesterday.
Search Profiles launched yesterday.
If you have 100K followers on YouTube, Instagram, or X, you can now claim a dedicated profile inside Google Search and Discover.
Your videos. Your articles. Your bio. Your links.
All surfaced directly when people search your name or your niche.
This is the move Google was building toward all along.
AI Overviews kill referral traffic. Search Profiles send users back to creators.
The creators who hit the 100K threshold get the entire benefit. The ones below it get nothing.
If you have a YouTube channel between 50K and 99K right now, your only job for the next 90 days is hitting 100K.
If you are starting from zero, the path is clear.
Build to 100K as fast as possible. The moment you cross, you unlock a Google search presence most brands would pay $50K for.
The platform consolidation has begun. Pick a lane.
Hit the threshold. Claim your profile before everyone else does.

YouTube Premium just went up to $15.99 for individuals and $26.99 for families.
YouTube also added an AI feature that speeds up playback during "less relevant" moments to save viewers time.
Two things creators need to understand about this.
1. Premium subscribers pay you more than ad viewers.
Premium revenue share to creators is often 2x to 4x the RPM of AdSense on the same video.
Every viewer YouTube converts to Premium becomes a higher-value viewer for your channel automatically.
2. AI is now editing your videos for the viewer.
The new playback feature decides which parts of your video are "less relevant" and speeds through them.
If your retention is bad in any section, the AI will train viewers to skip it faster. The flat sections of your videos just became actively harmful.
The fix is the same as always. Tighter scripts. No filler.
Every 30 seconds must justify the next 30 seconds. The pacing standard just got higher across the entire platform.
This is not a price hike. It is a quality filter.

The wave is not over yet.
People are still waking up to disabled AdSense accounts,
And zero clarity on what YouTube will hit next.
But the signals are shifting.
Channels that were wiped for "Inauthentic Content" are being quietly remonetized.
The system is still recalibrating in real time.
Not every termination is final.
The pressure from creators is forcing actual reversals.
The other signal nobody is paying close enough attention to. Google is now labeling which videos are AI-generated or AI-altered and which are not.
This is not the start of a YouTube ban on AI.
This is the start of forced transparency.
YouTube does not have a problem with AI.
Google ships AI tools every week. They built Gemini.
They acquired Veo.
The platform is not the enemy of the technology.
The problem is the operators using AI to mass-produce lazy, repetitive, low-effort slop and dumping it onto the platform at scale.
AI is a tool. Use it to sharpen research, speed up production, level up storytelling, automate translation, and streamline workflow.
It compounds your output without compromising your quality.
Use it to flood the platform with templated trash and the algorithm will eventually come for you.
The lesson is simple.
Do not be afraid of AI. Be afraid of building content that brings no real value to anyone.
