Today, @SubManagerApp turns 3 on the App Store. What started as a simple iOS app created during university to solve a personal need turned into a powerful subscription tracker with highly optimised apps across the entire Apple ecosystem. Hearing how this app has helped customers keep their spending in check and easily cancel unwanted subscriptions truly means the world to me. It’s amazing feedback like this that keeps me going, and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their incredible support.
SubManager 2.0 is my biggest update yet. Continuing the tradition of adopting the latest Apple platform features, this release will introduce automated document importing alongside several highly requested features. The beta is open to anyone who wants a sneak peek, and I look forward to sharing more details here soon.

It’s really great to see my subscription tracking app ranking in the top charts in several countries and being loved by users all over.
The next major update will include some highly requested features. Comment if you’re interested in trying the beta out.

The best way to use @SubManagerApp on Mac is via the native app, but if iPhone Mirroring is how you want to use it, it will gain full resizable support on iOS/macOS 27!

Thanks to all who attended the SubManager booth at the @communitykit_ Indie App Fair today! I’ve received a lot of requests for automating the adding of subscriptions. This is definitely being looked at and I hope to share more information soon. 🙂

SubManager has had @MyWishKit integrated since April, allowing users to submit and vote on feature requests via a native interface. It’s also helped me to track which features are most requested and plan future updates around them.
Today’s update includes v5 of WishKit with the updated interface. Thanks developers for providing this to the community!

Just shipped a new SubManager update making it easier than ever to add a subscription icon. Pull it straight from any app on your Mac. Pick it, done.
Up next: full document importing (screenshots, CSVs + more), my #1 most requested feature. Can't wait for you to try it out!

Bit overdue, but @SubManagerApp's settings page is getting a makeover with a cleaner UI. Looks great on the Mac version especially.
Coming in version 1.8.5 along with Mac app icon import, a new SubManager+ benefit.

One of the most asked questions about @SubManagerApp was:
"Can it automatically import your subscriptions?"
While it unfortunately cannot at the moment, with this week's WWDC announcements I am exploring the use of on-device solutions, and will share more details when ready. In the interim, an update earlier this month introduced the ability to directly search icons on the App Store. Another update launching very soon will also allow icons from apps installed on your Mac to be imported.
The feedback received this week has been really valuable. Please do keep them coming!
