Finally got around to making a showreel specifically for puppet/hybrid animation I've done over the last few years
All the brown diagnosed autistic people I know IRL have told me to get an autism test and a lot of the white diagnosed autistic people are standoffish with me #WHATDATMEAN
Secret game unlocked! Time for me to start Dark Souls II!

I hope yous enjoy this cuz I probs wont drop another animation like this for a WHILE
Had this animation in mind ever since I heard @JIDsv say the line. Got the whole video boarded in my head but I have no time for that
Maybe now that I'm finished with this, I'll find time to actually watch Ed, Edd n Eddy

Britain didn’t simply “stop” slavery in the Caribbean. Former slaves were turned into ‘apprentices’ for up to 6 years as they ‘worked’ for their ‘freedom’ from British slave owners. They killed over 400 Black Jamaicans in Morant Bay in 1865 because they wanted actual freedom.
Replying to @Lorna_TVeditor
Haiti had no power to stop slavery beyond its own borders.
Britain stopped it in the Caribbean, then on the Atlantic, then in the West African hinterland and then in East and North Africa ….
You can recognise that and say thank you anytime.
Great British 🇬🇧 men like Gordon of Khartoum and David Livingstone set out to end slavery across Northern, East
and Central Africa … you can honour them too.

🚨 BREAKING: Colorado DNA analyst Yvonne “Missy” Woods sentenced to 10 years after deleting male DNA in 32 rape cases — then reporting none was found.
She spent 29 years as CBI’s star expert. Investigators now say 1,045 of her cases are tainted. Over 400 were sexual assaults. One murder conviction already tossed.
An intern caught her. Concerns were raised more than a decade earlier. She kept testing rape kits anyway.
In court, supporters packed the room. Victims shouted “LIAR! LIAR! LIAR!” as she was cuffed and led out.
Colorado is now retesting more than 1,000 cases.
Prosecutors already cut plea deals in three murder cases rather than risk her work in front of a jury.

Reminds me of this short animation on Dambe (Hausa boxing)
We actually have amazing Nigerian animators all that is needed is proper budget and good directors/writers.

As a southeast asian, seeing the rise of wasian rep in media is quite bittersweet. Because on one side, it’s great that there are doors being open for asian creatives. But on the other side….. it still reeks of colorism and who gets to pass.

Ya know the best part about this? The heroes that did this DIDN'T FUCKING POST ABOUT IT!!! No selfies. No POVs. No kitschy IG post. Just direct, effective action. No frills for shills!
We need more of *EXACTLY* this!!

Aaaaaaand THERE you go. What we all knew this was about. Like every authoritarian surveillance dystopia, it’s not about behavior or crime, but opposition to tyranny
