Gianni Infantino, the Greatest ! An astonishing performance in Zurich: Infantino, apparently a good Catholic, confesses his sins and then promises 25 million. Confession, indulgence and absolution — all in one appearance! The Pope would love it. But in football, as in the Church, credibility cannot be bought. #Fifa #GianniInfantino #indulgence #absolution #ThePope
Fair to say that @CllrChrisEynon is about as thin-skinned as Donald Trump. Blocking accounts that hold him to account.
As Reform UK’s Sunderland Leader @CllrChrisEynon blocked us, he won’t see that we are reminding everyone that he used to campaign for Boris Johnson, for a Conservative government.
He would really hate this, so whatever you do, don’t also share it.
This.
Why is there barely any mention of the appropriately named Lola Salem - the suddenly ex-girlfriend of camp Conservative ghoul Michael Gove - in our national media? Lola faces child porn charges.
I promise you if Lola was trans, an asylum seeker or had zero connections to power the story would be everywhere.

Well this is interesting!
Yesterday afternoon GB News had the Lola Salem story; then deleted it.
Then at 5pm the Mail ran it- by this morning it was GONE from their site too.
I wonder if the editor of the Spectator, Michael Gove, knows what’s going on? 🤔

Hmmm… who to believe… Andy Burnham or the compulsive liar who got sacked twice for lying, lied to Parliament, lied to The Queen, cheated on two wives and ignored the Ministerial Code. Tricky one.

Added to which Burnham did not apply a judgement re successful or not. Just that there had been Russian interference in our democratic vote. Possibly not as influential as the Johnson lies, who knows, but their ventilation helped and of course they were also all over the Banks crew. Fascinating to see Farage Johnson and co trying to accuse Burnham of saying something he didn’t to distract from the absolute truth of what he did say.
This is just not true. As soon as I became foreign secretary I asked the security services the same question and they replied that there was no evidence of any successful interference in the 2016 referendum, by Russia or any other power.
Either the security services have changed their view - which would be very odd - or Burnham is lying about what he has been told. After all Starmer was in power for two years and had access to exactly the same information.

I heard there were secret flights to Dubai ferrying ex pats & tax evaders.
I never believed it, but it's true.
It should bring down the Tories & Reform.

The Thatcher era could be summarised as good/lucrative for many, horrible for many more with high unemployment and deindustrialisation and the stark differences here point to a Government that was working for a subset of the UK, not the country in its entirety.

BREAKING: The Commission have now requested documents relating to City’s controversial signing of Curly Watts in 1994
Investigators are understood to be examining the transfer fee, £16.8m paid to an unnamed intermediary, a suspicious consultancy agreement with Reginald Holdsworth & whether the Rovers Return lager contract was actually disguised owner investment.
Curly maintains he joined purely for the project & denies ever receiving a brown envelope round the back of Kevin Websters garage
