Game of Thrones sketches. 🐺✍️ Spent some time breaking down characters, gestures, and shapes for practice. Focusing heavily on capturing performance and actions across the page. #gameofthrones #gotart #sketchbookpages #mechanicalpencildrawing #pencilsketch #makingcomics

Absolute Batman Trying something different to add to my portfolio. The last time I drew a Batman, it was a disaster, that I will have to scrub from the internet. Hopefully this time I manage to do him justice. If anyone wishes to partner up and turn this into an actual variant, let me know. I also have an idea for an alternate variant of this, but my mental capacity is completely drained at the moment. #absolutebatman #dccomics #comicvariant #comicart

Miyamoto's message to aspiring game developers or people wanting to work at Nintendo: "I still think it's fun to create something from scratch, so I'd like you to give it a try. I think the opposite of "creating from scratch" is "making something skillfully." I started drawing because I admired manga artists, and I spent a long time imitating the work of people who were much better than I was, but I could never become that good. Looking back, I realize that was actually a stroke of luck. If I had been able to draw as well as they could, I probably would have spent all my time trying to become like them. But when I finally accepted, "Well, I guess I can't," I realized, "Oh, being able to create something unique is a kind of individuality too." Even now, if someone asks me to "draw something," I instinctively try to make it look skillful—but that's not really the right approach. If you just let your feelings take over and go, "Graaah!" and draw, you might end up creating something with a flavor that's unlike anyone else's. I'm talking about drawing here, but I think the same is true of just about everything. I'd like people to freely express things that only they would think of. With games, though, you have to turn those ideas into something that actually runs as a program. It's fine for your ideas to be free, but if they stay vague, you can't translate them into code that operates in the binary world of computers. That's why I think you should develop the habit of expressing your ideas precisely. One thing I pay attention to in my everyday work is avoiding vague comments like, "Let's make it a little faster." If you say something like that, the other person won't know what you mean, so I try to be specific: "Let's make it 1.5 times faster," or "Let's make it 1.3 times faster." If someone just says, "Something about it doesn't feel right," that's not very helpful either (laughs). And then, because you also have to think about things like the CPU and memory, if you want to design games, you should properly learn the technical side as well—while keeping your ideas free. As your technical skills improve, the range of ideas you can successfully turn into reality expands too. So once you've decided what you want to achieve, it's important to study seriously so you can get there." (Machine Translation) famitsu.com/article/202607/8…

Nolan knows ball. I've been asked similar questions a few times and the answer is the same in comics, the only committment is to produce good work as only you can.
